Kolkata's stations are tightly clustered, mostly in the central and southern parts of the city, which makes switching between them quick. The picture beyond the city improved with the September 2026 RTI reply from Indian Oil, which added XP100 outlets in Howrah, Durgapur, Asansol, Raniganj, Panagarh and Siliguri.
