XP100 Finder is a free tool with no account system. This page explains, plainly, what data it does and doesn't handle.

What's stored on your device, not on our servers

The site uses your browser's local storage for a few things, none of which ever leave your device: your favourited stations, which stations you've navigated to (so we can prompt you for an availability report), your last-used search filters, and whether you've dismissed the install prompt. None of this is transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.

Location

On landing, the page shows stations sorted by an approximate location, derived from your IP address at city-level accuracy via Cloudflare's network. No permission prompt is needed for this, and nothing is logged. If you allow the browser's location permission for a precise sort, your device's GPS coordinates are used to calculate distances entirely within your browser and are never sent to any server or stored in any form.

Community availability votes

When you report a station as Available, Out of Stock, or Not Offered, your browser sends the station code and the status you selected to our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which stores an updated vote count for that station. No name, email, or account is attached to a vote. Repeat voting on the same station is limited to once per 24 hours, tracked locally in your browser rather than by identifying you — clearing your browser storage resets that limit. As with any web request, our infrastructure provider may process standard technical information such as IP address as part of ordinary request handling, governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy, not something we separately access or store.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't track individuals across sites. It gives us aggregate figures — how many people visited, roughly which pages, roughly which country — and nothing that identifies you personally.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Clicking "Navigate" opens Google Maps in a new tab, subject to Google's own privacy policy, which we have no control over.

Advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing activity. You can review or opt out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.
